I believe it is a
happy talent to
know how to play

ABOUT

Picture
Hello, I'm Kit-Kat.

I am passionate about play and the place it has in the world. I believe that everyone should grow up knowing the joy of laughter, and that engaging in creative theatre is the perfect tool to allow this to be accessible to all, regardless of background and circumstances.

My work takes me across the world so I engage with children and families from all walks of life; it is this diversity which fuels my need to ensure every child has the chance, and reason, to smile each day.

All aspects of my work complement each other; from delivering workshops in refugee camps, to providing entertainment at children's parties, to facilitating play sessions in schools, but at the heart is always the core need for shared laughter, play, and community.

I am dedicated to learning; a task which I believe should never stop. I have a Degree in Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre from Circomedia, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Physical Theatre from Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company, and a Masters Degree in Anthropology of Childhood, Youth and Education from Brunel University. This eclectic mix gives me the theoretical grounding teamed with the practical experience needed to boldly and appropriately take on a variety of work which makes a difference to young peoples lives.

I am a freelance clown, but I primarily work for The Flying Seagull Project as a team leader and core crew member.
We are a group of clowns, musicians, play specialists and teachers working together to save the childhood of young people around the world who live in challenging situations. For more information please visit our website: https://www.theflyingseagullproject.com/
